Morning Nutrition Routine For The Win!

One tool that I used that was crucial to me regaining my health and still is to maintaining my current health is my MORING NUTRITION ROUTINE! When I decided to empower myself and take back control of my thyroid health creating a solid morning routine was key. But not just any routine a MORING NUTRITION ROUTINE!

Sure, I know you’ve heard all about the importance of having a morning routine on social media, but THIS routine is all about using food as medicine in your morning routine. Whether you know it yet or not, we are all struggling with toxic heavy metal overload in our bodies like aluminum, copper, or mercury to name the popular ones. These metals wreak all kinds of havoc in our bodies and give us symptoms like anxiety, paranoia, brain fog, and forgetfulness to name just a few. 

This is one reason why using a morning nutrition routine to build in a gentle morning detox is very important.

If you do this it will help change the trajectory of your Thyroid Dis-ease.

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s and nothing helped me feel better until I started doing this routine each morning and I have seen a big improvement in my health overall. This morning nutrition routine is packed with vitamins, minerals, & other nutrients that are key to balancing hormones, regulating blood sugar levels, detoxing, and flushing out your liver, brain, blood, and nervous system too.

The Routine Break Down:

  1. Wake up (do not brush your teeth) drink at least 16 ounces of fresh-squeezed lemon or lime water

  2. After 15-30 minutes

  3. Drink 16 ounces of fresh plane Celery juice

  4. After 15- 30 minutes if you need a coffee that’s fine, just pause on the creamer because fats stop your detox,  I like to use honey and cinnamon as a sweetener in my coffee or you can substitute in a cup of Chaga mushroom tea or Roasted Dandelion Root tea instead

  5. For breakfast make and drink a Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie

That recipe is:

  • 2 Frozen Bananas

  • 2 Cups Frozen wild blueberries

  • 1 Orange or 2-3 Tangerines

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen organic cilantro

  • 1 Tsp barley grass juice powder

  • 1 Tsp Hawaiian spirulina

  • 1Tbls Atlantic dulse flakes

  • 1 Cup water or Coconut water

5. When you get hungry again enjoy a bowl of gluten-free whole rolled oats topped with cut-up fruit on tops like apples, bananas, blueberries, or strawberries as well as some cinnamon, honey, or maple syrup as sweeteners

Since I have changed my morning routine to this schedule I have seen my brain fog improve significantly as well as my energy, and Im having better bowel movements, no bloating (unless on my usual period bloat), stronger nails/ hair growth, less anxiety, and I feel hydrated and less thirsty all day long.
